The county of Starland is currently working on addressing rural properties and yard sites to provide a more accurate system for identifying rural sites. Modeled after the address system found in most major cities, the municipal addressing system is designated a municipal address that relates to the range road, township road or named road from which the properties driveway is built.  This program allows for those of us who live in rural County of Starland to have a specific property Rural address signs will be 24'x12' location beyond the legal land location.

The swale has been installed.  We allowed space between the properties for a future fence.  And now work on the concrete sidewalks and pads that each of us are doing can begin.  We drew out our plans and the contractor is getting ready to put them in.

 

As you can see the basework (area prepped for cribbing) on the left hand side, the swale is the light gray part down the middle, and on the right the forms are going in for the sidewalk.
